Borrowed
Motion

Siphon motion and time from one object, give it to another, and repair an impossible chain of cause and effect.

Opening Tea Counter: a fan carries one time beat; a cart carries one motion pulse.

The current vertical slice

A little chain of causes, made visible.

01

Give the lift time

Borrow the fan’s finite time beat and transfer it to the stalled service lift.

02

Give it motion

Borrow the cart’s rightward pulse and give it to the now-powered lift.

03

Let the room resolve

The lift carries one cup to the hatch. The hatch opens. Replay becomes available.

Runtime captures

Read the transfer before it happens.

These are accepted desktop captures from the completed Tea Counter slice—not concept art or a public release trailer.

A valid bell branch where the bell rings while the lift still needs a motion pulse.
Valid bell branch: a legible stall, not a hidden failure.

A recoverable wrong turn

The bell can ring. The cup still won’t move.

The cart’s pulse can go to the bell instead. It is a truthful alternate result: the room shows why the lift remains short of motion, and Restart returns the exact deterministic opening state.

Completed vertical-slice evidence, not a download.

Desktop mouse input was tested; the game uses a shared point-input seam intended to cover touch. The completed evidence includes a reduced-motion desktop journey.
