Range TD

A mobile tower-defense combat loop built in public view, then preserved as a studio iteration artifact.

Range TD is a compact iPhone-first tower-defense prototype: place three distinct defenses, read escalating enemy pressure, and survive a five-wave combat loop. This page preserves the neutral shape-based checkpoint before the next presentation layer begins.

Range TD shape-based tower defense gameplay on iPhone.
Wave One: an early, fully playable combat loop with readable placement and enemy pressure.

Tower-defense ideas are cheap; the useful proof is whether placement, targeting, range, economy, enemy pressure, victory, and defeat remain readable on a phone.

  • A five-wave iPhone combat loop with Gun, Mortar, and Cannon roles.
  • Three distinct enemy pressures: Grunt, Runner, and armored Tank.
  • Economy, upgrades, closest-to-base targeting, pause/speed, victory, defeat, audio, and haptic feedback.
  • A two-lane Crossroads experiment with independently owned bases and routes.
  • Direct owner iPhone testing through victory and defeat.
  • Preserved neutral-shape campaign checkpoint for later comparison.
  • Crossroads follow-up reviewed after a device HUD repair.

This is a preserved prototype artifact, not a public download, historical simulation, or finished art-production game. The screenshots document the neutral shape-language build; later themed work will be recorded as a separate iteration.
