Get Me Dates is an adult-only dating-profile coaching tool operated by Symposium Studios. It does not create public profiles, match users, post to dating apps, or sell profile data.
1. Information we collect
Profile review material
When you start a review, you choose a dating-app mode, relationship goal, tone, personal details, and 3–20 photos. The app creates smaller review copies of selected photos on your device and sends those copies and profile inputs to our hosted AI review service.
Technical and service information
We process an anonymous app-install identifier, a hashed retry key, photo identifiers and filenames, job status, network-derived IP information for abuse controls, and ordinary hosting logs. If you enable notifications, we process an Expo push token so the app can tell you when a review is ready. The notification contains a temporary job identifier, not your photos or profile text.
Support communications
If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Please do not email private photos, government identification, or other sensitive material.
2. How we use information
We use this information to generate the review you requested; rank and explain photo choices; draft profile copy; resume a temporary review; send an optional completion notification; prevent duplicate charges or requests; enforce age, safety, rate, and cost controls; troubleshoot failures; and respond to support messages.
We do not sell personal information, use profile material for targeted advertising, or expose reviews in a public feed. Get Me Dates does not automatically publish to Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, Feeld, or any other dating service.
3. Service providers
We use service providers only to operate the product:
- OpenAI processes the review request and returns AI-generated analysis and copy.
- Vercel hosts the review API and may process operational request logs.
- Upstash stores temporary, metadata-only review-job records, results, and abuse-control counters.
- Expo delivers optional push notifications. Notification payloads do not include profile photos or review text.
These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their own security and legal obligations. Their infrastructure policies govern information they process on our behalf.
4. Retention and deletion
Raw photo data is sent directly in the request used to start an OpenAI review; it is not written into our Upstash review-job record. Temporary job metadata and completed review results are designed to expire after approximately one hour. A short-lived expiry receipt may remain for up to approximately two hours so the app can explain that a known job expired rather than treating it as an unknown request.
Your working session and original photo selections remain on your device until you delete the session or remove the app. Deleting a session asks our API to delete an active temporary job record; if that request cannot be confirmed, the record still expires automatically. Deletion does not remove copies you deliberately saved to your photo library or shared elsewhere.
Abuse-control counters, security logs, and support correspondence may be retained longer when reasonably needed to operate, secure, debug, or comply with legal obligations. Service providers may retain limited data according to their own policies.
5. Your choices and rights
You can decline notification permission and still return to the app to check a review. You can remove photos before starting a review, delete the local session, delete an active temporary review from the app, or stop using the service. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about personal data we control.
6. Security
We use server-side API credentials, opaque identifiers, hashed install and retry keys, signed completion webhooks, short retention periods, and access controls intended to reduce unnecessary exposure. No service can guarantee absolute security, so submit only material needed for your profile review.
7. Adult-only service
Get Me Dates is for adults 18 and over. Users confirm they have permission to use every submitted image and will not upload nudity, explicit sexual content, or photos of minors. We may refuse, limit, or investigate suspected misuse.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the beta changes. We will revise the effective date on this page when we make material updates.
