Overview
Scenehand is a creative camera and audio lab for iPhone operated by Symposium Studios. This policy describes the current local-first product and applies to version 1.0 resubmitted for App Store review.
Camera and microphone
Scenehand asks for camera access to preview and record video. It asks for microphone access when you record clips with sound. The app uses those device inputs to make the camera and audio features you choose work; it does not operate a public upload feed.
Local takes and Photos
Recorded takes and Gallery copies are created and managed on your device. Scenehand asks for Photos access only when you choose to save a take to your Photos library or use a system media workflow. You control whether a take is saved or shared outside the app.
Face data and stabilization
Scenehand does not detect, identify, recognize, analyze, store, or transmit face data. Its optional, user-initiated Stabilize action uses Apple Vision whole-frame translational image registration to estimate camera motion in a recorded take. This on-device process does not perform face detection, facial-landmark extraction, face tracking, face templates, or biometric identification. No face data or video-frame analysis is shared with Symposium Studios or any third party. A take and any stabilized copy remain on your device unless you choose to save it to Photos or share it.
What the current app does not require
The current product direction does not require an account, contact-list access, precise location, advertising identifier, third-party ad tracking, cloud gallery, or public social feed.
Support messages
If you contact support, Symposium Studios receives the information you choose to send, such as your device model, iOS version, app version, screenshots, and issue description. Please do not send private clips unless we specifically request a sample and you are comfortable sharing it.
Children
Scenehand is not designed for children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support, contact us so we can review the request.
Changes
We may update this policy as Scenehand changes. Material changes will be reflected here and, where applicable, in App Store privacy details.
